Well, as you can see by Kyla’s post, I’m at it again!
It seems like all I’ve been doing lately is photographing Kyla and her pregnant belly. I just love this time and feel grateful that I’m able to capture all these memories over her 9 months of pregnancy.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to post some of the pictures from the 3D Ultrasound we had done last week.

Barefoot and Pregnant

Collin took this picture of me the other day, and I thought it was worth sharing! I’m in the nursery, which we are still working on. It’s coming along, slowly but surely.
We have been so busy the past couple of weeks and time is just flying by. We have taken two birthing classes, which has been very interesting, enlightening and a bit scary. We get to see video’s, practice breathing exercises and all sorts of fun stuff. The class is five weeks long, so we have three to go. I’m looking forward to the one where the teacher tells us all about the Epidural!! I would love to say that I could handle the pain without any drugs, but I just don’t know if that’s possible for me. I think I’ll go as long as I can without medication and hopefully that will get us at least into the hospital and a few hours into it. I’m sure you’ll hear all about it once Elyana is here.
We also re-did our 3D ultrasound, which turned out much better than the first. She was still yoga-baby, but wasn’t quite as shy about showing her face. We got to see her yawn, which was really cool.
We have a doctors appointment this afternoon. I’m sure it will be business as usual, but we’ll let you know if there is anything interesting to share.
In case you’re wondering, there are 73 days until our due date!
