Latest Numbers…

May 23, 2008

Kyla had another appointment yesterday to have her blood drawn and the critical number came back great!  Her Beta number is 2720, Progesterone 32.4 and Estrogen 1081!  This is awesome news!  The nurse said the numbers were “beautiful” and she believes that it’s still one strong growing baby!

We found out that our first Ultrasound appointment will be on June 5th at 10:15am.  This will most definitely confirm how many babies are growing in there, since we’ll be able to hear the heart beat for the first time.  Woo Hoo!

Kyla is feeling both good and bad this past week.  If you don’t count the morning sickness, night sickness, sore phanny from all the shots, raging hormones and ever-growing body that she’s not happy about…she’s actually doing really great.  Right Kyla?  I know she’s not one to complain too much about all this, so I thought I would do some of that for her. :)  We are both so overjoyed with the fact that this whole process worked and we got pregnant, that it overshadows the not so fun stuff that pregnancy brings.  I just can’t imagine how it feels to have your body going through all these changes and not feeling like you have any control of your emotions.  Kyla is handling all of this so amazing! Please continue to pray for her AND our growing baby!

Speaking of sore phannies…we found out that Kyla will need to have the ultra huge progesterone shots up until 11th week!  Yikes, that’s another 6 weeks!  The worst part about it is that the new dose of progesterone is a lot thicker than the medication we are currently giving.  Poor phanny…poor, poor phanny!

Thanks again for all of your love, prayers and support!  We’ll continue to keep you updated every step of the way.

If you bought a T-Shirt, please remember to send us your pictures in your shirts!  We’d love to have each and every one of you up on or photos page!

Oh Kyla I’m sorry that you are having some issues with morning sickness….I was lucky enough to not have to deal with that, and I will pray that it will get better! From what I’ve heard, it goes away rather quickly. Hope that is the case with you. Just keep in mind…in a relatively short time, you’ll be holding your sweet baby in your own two hands! WOWIE!!!

Got something to say?
