Quick Update…
January 6, 2009
Here is a picture of our little Elyana! Every ultrasound they’ve done so far, she’s had her hands in front of her face, so this is the first one that’s been done where you can see so much detail of her beautiful face! We’re curious to see how she will compare in real life!
I had my appointment yesterday where they did another stress test. Elyana’s heart rate looked good and the fluid level is now at a 10. As long as it stays above 8, we’re good. My next appointment is on Friday where they do another stress test and then I have my regularly scheduled appointment with my doctor. I’m sure she’ll check again to see if I’m at all dilated.
I have officially caught this horrible cold/flu and I was in bed all day today! The only thing I can take is Robitussin and Tylenol to help. I’m a little envious when Collin takes a swig of Nyquil! I really want to get better before I go into labor, or they decide it’s time for Elyana to come. First, I don’t want her to catch anything, and second, I will need all the strength I can get! Collin is slowly getting better. It seems like 2 steps forward, 1 step back. He’ll feel really good all day, and then his fever will spike and he’ll feel horrible the whole afternoon and evening. Please pray for us right now as we both want to be as healthy as possible for the arrival of our daughter. I know this horrible cold is going around, and we are hoping and praying it’s staying away from you!
