We graduated! (sniff, sniff)

June 23, 2008

It’s official, we’ve graduated from Huntington Reproductive Center! We had our final ultrasound with Dr Potter and he declared us ready to move on to Kaiser. It took a few minutes to sink in, but when Nurse Maria presented us with a gift, I kind of lost it. The gift included a bib, blanket and baby spoon that all read “HRC loves me!”. We have felt so blessed by the incredible kindness of the entire staff. We will truly miss each and every one of them. They’ve become like a mini-family to us and I might just have withdrawals from seeing them every week. Who will I e-mail when I have a dumb question, and will Kaiser understand when I’m running 10 minutes late (for almost every appointment!), and will the Kaiser nurses want to talk about American Idol with me??? I’m sure the Kaiser staff will be wonderful as well, but they definitely have big shoes to fill!

Dr Potter, Gina, Cindy, Monica, Lourdes, Maria and Irene: Thank you for your time, patience, knowledge, understanding and love. We wouldn’t be pregnant without you and we will forever remember the gift you’ve given us. May God truly bless each of you. Maybe we’ll name the baby HRC Jr!

Kyla, Collin, Callaway and Baby Pollock

You have such perserverence and stay so positive. What an inspiration to us all! I will be praying for you guys every step of the way. Your mom keeps us informed and what a blessing she is. You are right, your dad would be so proud of his little girl.
May God continually watch over you and carry you through this new adventure in your life.

    Love you… Kay Lykins
