Week 6!
May 30, 2008
We’ve made it to week 6 of pregnancy! This week, the nose, mouth and ears are starting to take shape. In eight months, we’ll be kissing that little mouth and nose! I can’t wait! Right now, our baby is about a quarter of an inch long, or the size of a lentil bean!
I had my appointment yesterday and my numbers are still looking pretty good. My Beta is now at 19,735! My nurse was really happy with this number. My progesterone level dropped some from last week, so they’re having us raise the dose of progesterone Collin injects into me each night. It made me nervous that the progesterone level went down and when I asked my nurse, she said it can fluctuate, but they like to see it above 20. Right now, my level is 23.4, which is down from last week at 32.4.
Please continue to pray for the baby, that he or she (or they), continues to grow and be healthy. Please also pray that my progesterone level will rise and not lower to below 20. To be honest, I’m not sure what would happen if it did go below 20, but I really don’t think I want to find out.
Thank you, as always, for your continued prayer and support!
Kyla

Got something to say?

And 34 to go! They will be some of the best weeks of your life! I’ve heard that the morning sickness goes away after the first trimester…so hang in there. The fatigue also lightens up. This really is the hardest part. Eat well, gets lots of rest, drink lots of water, and just enjoy this time.
Love the weekly updates..keep ‘em coming! See you guys soon!
